The SQA Education Committee is starting the year out with ambitious initiatives and additional outreach to the Regional Chapters and other professional organizations. We have developed a standardized set up overheads for basic training. These will be made available to the Chapters upon request, along with hard-copy handouts. We are also developing a 4-hour presentation to be given at Universities and other professional non-profit organizations as an introduction to GLPs. Laura Metzger will be developing a curriculum for use in the Universities, while Barbara Patterson's goal is to develop a training calendar on the SQA web site. We have 5 training sessions scheduled throughout the year in addition to the pre-conference training to be given in Denver. We also plan to offer an advanced QA course this next summer. Look for exciting things from EDCOM this year!!
